House sale completion

Tuesday 24th  March
Well that's that our house is no longer ours, the new owners have moved in today, I took the keys to them about 3.30pm, usually you have to pick up the keys from the estate agents but as they had travelled 100 miles and would have had to go another 16 miles to the estate agent and then back to Roos it made sense for me to pop the keys to them as we now live 4 miles away. It was a sad moment for me and I shed a tear as I left we have been very happy in that house and we have lived in Roos for   about 25years although not in the same house. I know it's only bricks and mortar but you do make a lot of memories but I am sure we will now make more memories on Rock & Roll. Here's to the future!!😂

  1. I never shed a tear when we sold our house in OZ (Which was a lovely home) but had a good bawl when stepping off of NB Caxton for the last time.

  2. Your sadness is understandable, though: living in a house for 25 years? That’s a long time. I know you were happy in your house and made good memories there, so you felt somehow attached to the house. But you will get past that and make new memories in your new home!

  3. Congratulations on finally having your house sold. It must be relieving, especially if the buyer likes it very much. It could only mean thing you’re a good homeowner. My wife and I are also in the process of selling our home and it is taking a long time. We’re looking to promoting it real soon.
